Rosicrucian Wisdom

Steiner's is unique, in that it combines esoteric teaching with practical suggestions for social development. He is best known today for the application of his ideas to education, medicine, and agriculture. None of this, however, could have developed without the coherent and profound body of spiritual knowledge at the very core of his work. In Rosicrucian Wisdom (one of his most complete introductions to modern spirituality), Steiner’s basis is the stream of Rosicrucian teaching—not the old ideas of tradition, but a wholly new contribution arising from the results of his experiential research. Steiner portrays the Rosicrucian path as most appropriate for modern spiritual seekers, but he warns that Rosicrucian teaching should not be taken as abstract theory. Instead of remaining in the head or heart, spiritual ideas must reach into daily activity and transform every aspect of life. He describes many facets of spiritual truth, including the laws of destiny, life after death, developing spiritual sight, and human evolution.
