The Four Seasons and the Archangels

The activities of the four great Archangels are described by Steiner in this work: Michael at Michaelmas in autumn, Gabriel at Christmas in winter, Raphael at Easter and in the spring, and Uriel at St. John's Tide in summer. The pictures given by Steiner of their working and weaving through the Earth can help us to understand and live into the seasons in a meaningful way.
