The Schiller File consists of suggestions and the setting up of tasks for natural scientific research given by Rudolf Steiner. During the 1920's, physicist Paul Eugen Schiller worked as an assistant at the research laboratory in Stuttgart on tasks set by Steiner. Later he moved to the Goetheanum where he established a simple physics laboratory and throughout his life devoted himself to developing some of the indications by Steiner. Other scientists too took up some of Steiner's indications concerning electricity, terrestrial magnetism, radio, conduction of heat, sensitive flames, etheric formative forces, the four Ethers, resonant oscillation, refinement of peat fibres, etc.
