The focus of these lectures is the spiritual work in the "school" or community of Michael. What does this mean? At the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, Michael wrought a mighty deed in the spiritual worlds: he revealed the new mystery which shines forth on earth in the form of anthroposophy. Its content is the renewal of the cognition of the mysteries of nature and of the cognition of the mysteries of karma or human destiny. Souls drawn to this school have a special relationship to thinking; the feeling for truth is strong as iron in them. With this feeling for the truth they live into the spiritual world, companions of Michael at the threshold, true to the spirit.
